August 2017
At the local Tonbridge and Malling Planning committee meeting on Tuesday 25th July 2017, a limited update to the local plan was shared. This focused mainly on some of the challenges to existing sites in the plan and therefore changes to their suitability. For Offham Road this was somewhat positive but recommendations for some development are still being considered.

June 2018
At the local Tonbridge and Malling Planning committee meeting on Tuesday 6th March 2018, the final proposed plan was released. This plan details the borough councils recommendations and intent on approving applications for housing in the given areas. Although some great success with the extensive boundary changes for more greenbelt in the area, Offham Road remains under threat.
